Welcome to the Minerals Industry Professional Pathways Information Centre (MIPPIC). MIPPIC was developed to provide information for those interested in starting or continuing professional careers in the mining and minerals industry in Australia. The development of this site was supported by the Minerals Industry Cooperation Initiative (MICI).
MIPPIC provides information covering professional roles in the minerals industry including:
- What qualifications are needed;
- What regulatory requirements need to be met;
- How to gain and maintain the competency requirements;
- Courses available and how these courses meet the requirements.
The materials included in the site are based on information provided by Regulators, Universities, Professional Associations and industry personnel.
